We have a distinct advantage when it comes to kitchen cabinets in that we started in that business and have retained our contacts. By designing the kitchen in-house we provide our clients with pricing that can be as much as 50% lower than what is otherwise available. Every design begins with function and is refined by changing the depths and heights of the cabinetry. Wood selections can be oak, maple, hickory or cherry. For laundry and baths we also use more economical birch, poplar and laminates. Once the function and wood is determined there are style choices that include standard or full overlay doors and over 30 profiles to choose from.
Interior doors from Masonite are either at the 6'8" height or 8' height; hollow core or solid core (quieter- for bedroom/bathrooms). Check out the website catalog for your personal favorites.
The interior mdf trim is the picture frame for each of your rooms, windows and entrances. Standard primed MDF selections include: 3.5" RB3 window and door casing profile; 7.25" main floor speed base molding; 2 piece crown moldings. The addition of coffered ceilings, beams, posts and columns are the added touches that make each home unique.
Valspar paints are available in any color from the Lowe's store that is only 2 miles from Reems Creek Village.
Lighting fixtures may be found in several local supply houses but we find Lowe's to be both convenient and well priced.
Flooring is typically a #2 red oak nail down when over a wood floor and when on concrete we use a locking engineered factory finished wood that is readily available at Lowe's in several species and colors.
Stainmaster carpet from Lowes is well priced. We generally allow $25/yard for material, pad and install.
Porcelain and Ceramic tile is the favorite for baths and laundry rooms. That can be found in a variety of color and style....
